  • Kevin McHorse
Kevin McHorse, PT, SCS, Cert. MDT grew up in Austin playing any sport he could to keep up with his two older brothers. Kevin eventually focused on tennis, playing 4 years at Austin College. After being diagnosed with scoliosis in middle school, Kevin’s first exposure to physical therapy was being treated for injuries that occurred while playing sports in his back brace. He decided at that time that PT was the career he wanted to pursue. Kevin went on to start the PT program at CTPO in 2002 and continues to be amazed by its growth. He loves the challenge of finding the right way to motivate each patient to get back to activity quickly and safely as possible. Kevin enjoys being able to individualize treatment plans in the one on one environment that CTPO provides. Kevin is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment by the McKenzie Institute of North America (Cert. MDT) as well as being a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS). Kevin enjoys teaching others about youth sports injuries, treatment and prevention, while he lectures both locally and nationally on these topics.
