Biography: Dr. Sargent was Assistant professor and physician advisor for the Division of Orthopaedics with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2005-2009. She serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board of the College of Natural Sciences at The University of Texas and is a reviewer for Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Sargent is married to her husband, Tom and has a young son, John Paul.In the news: Dr. Sargent was recently featured on KXAN news commenting on genetic testing in adolescents to determine athletic ability.
