Jimmy Simmonds, PT, MSPT, is a native Texan who grew up in New Braunfels, eventually settling in Austin in 2002. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M in 1993, where he lettered in track, and his Masters degree in Physical Therapy from TWU - Houston in 1997. He has a love of sports, playing all he could growing up and enjoys being with his family, snow/water skiing as well as hunting/fishing when he can. His wife, Diana, grew up in Austin and is also a Physical Therapist, and he has 2 kids, Robin and Drew, who keep things fun and busy with their many sports and activities. As a PT he has worked with recreational, youth, college, pro and Olympic athletes in his career. Through his experiences, he has come to enjoy working with young athletes and guiding them through their recovery in a speedy and safe manner, and especially teaching them how to best prevent future injuries. He is proud to be a part of the CTPO team.
