SAY HELLO TO
DR. RICKERT
My main goal is to listen to my patients and their families carefully, making sure I help them understand their diagnosis and treatments, no matter how complex.
I absolutely love my job, and treat all of my patients with the same care and affection I would give to my own kids. It brings me great joy and fulfillment to be there for families in our community."

OFF THE RECORD
FUNNIEST MOMENT
Telling the best (okay worst) dad jokes to make my patients laugh before surgery."
WHAT ARE YOU FAMOUS FOR AT CTPO?
Being willing to take on just about anything. I'm an organizer that takes care of business.
FAVORITE THING TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two boys, dogs, and family. I also love riding horses and traveling.
FAVORITE TIP FOR PARENTS
It's completely normal to experience a range of emotions when dealing with doctor visits and surgeries. Feelings of anxiety, fear, or uncertainty are totally normal and should be embraced. Your emotions are valid, and I'm here to provide compassionate care and guidance throughout your journey.
HEARTWARMING MOMENT
It warms my heart when kids and families want to take pictures with me after their treatments are complete.
SUBSPECIALTY FOCUS
Limb lengthening, reconstruction, trauma, and foot and ankle are some of my favorite subspecialties . I also love fixing broken bones and making crooked bones straight!
